She’s only 13 months old and already suffering from tonsillitis! She had a cold more than a week ago but was feeling and looking well last week on Wednesday when I took her swimming. Massive mum guilt here because the next day she looked and felt miserable. Very clingy, wanted to be held and cuddled all the awake times. It reminded me of the newborn days when I found it hard to put her down as she’d start crying soon after. Continue reading
We’ve been swimming with Water Babies since she was 11 weeks old and it’s been one of the baby/toddler activities that I used to look forward to the most. Used to… When she turned one she completely changed in the water – she is clingy, going underwater scares her, pretty much everything that we were able to do previously, she has a problem with. She still loves bath time so it didn’t make any sense until our instructor explained the water wobbles. Continue reading
I’m posting this a day before our little girl’s first birthday and I’m sat here going through the birth in my head again. I’m posting this when she’s already 5 months old but the messy month of January just didn’t allow me to relax, sit down and finish this blog post… ☹️. Continue reading
I finally decided to try out the Baby Club at Everyman, Maida Vale and went to see Molly’s Game this week. I was a bit hesitant as wasn’t sure whether she’d let me enjoy any of it but I’m so glad I gave it a go! The Baby Club in Maida Vale’s cinema is on Wednesdays and I’ll definitely go again soon. Continue reading
Are all mums obsessed with their babies’/kids’ sleep? That’s the only way I can describe it for myself – obsession. Continue reading
This Monday I went to a free two-hour consultation with one of John Lewis’s nursery advisors on Oxford Street. They are trained as sales staff (as they should be) and can recommend a long list of things that you may not actually need in the end but I found it really useful and only took a few things with a pinch of salt. Continue reading
